Take a Minute, and…

April 17, 2023

This week’s blog is bare bones.

No quote. No list. No book chats. Nothing.

Because…

I’m going on a silent retreat.

Strangely, I’m writing this blog post BEFORE I actually leave, and by the time you’re reading this, I’ll be back home, and the retreat will be over.

I’m writing it before I leave because I won’t have access to a computer or my phone during the normal time I write my blogs.

Next week, I’ll tell you how it went.

3 days.

No talking.

No technology.

No novel writing.

No checking my email.

No texts.

No phone calls.

Just me, the nuns, and silence.

I’ve never done anything like this before. To be honest, I’m nervous.

But I recognize the benefit of quiet.

Because the constant hum of a busy life can keep you from hearing something spectacular.

This week, I wish you peace, rejuvenation, and a quiet stillness that is packed fuller than any noise.

More noise next week.

Much quiet glitter,

Melissa
